Located in the heart of Japantown, one of San Francisco's oldest neighborhoods, The Kimpton Buchanan Hotel sought to add color and personality to their parking garage. To achieve this, they hired Wall and Wall muralists to create a design that showcased the hotel name and hand-painted illustrations of Japanese culture.
The result was a massive 60 ft. wide wall mural featuring intricate illustrations such as origami between clouds, a pagoda, and the hotel name and branding. The custom mural serves to brighten and enliven the parking garage while increasing brand awareness for this boutique hotel.
