"Play Me" Interactive Mural
San Francisco, CA | 2015
Our mural company, Wall and Wall, made a big step into the tech+art space by creating our first interactive mural (presented at the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco) that enables its audience, with the touch of a finger, to emote a sound response. Welcome to interactive murals!
After the creative design process, we set up all the elements behind the panel on which the freestanding wall mural is displayed. With the use of Bare Conductive technology, we were able to pre-program sounds that would be played once triggered by the audience. Using conductive paint, we were able to trigger sounds from the touch of a finger onto our mural. It's a truly magical experience that sparks curiosity and opens up possibilities!
