Seeds of Berkeley

This large-scale mural along Center Street in downtown Berkeley was created to bring color, movement, and a renewed sense of energy to a block shaped by transition and change. Spanning multiple storefronts, the artwork transforms the streetscape into a more inviting and engaging experience for pedestrians and the surrounding community.
Developed in collaboration with the Downtown Berkeley Association and the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, the mural reflects the idea that public art can activate space, foster connection, and reimagine how we experience the city.
By introducing bold color and visual rhythm at street level, the project demonstrates the power of art to shift perception and create a stronger sense of place in the urban environment.
